These terms explain how quotes and bookings work with Bike Transport Chennai. The written quote and booking confirmation for your move set out the actual charges and services. Keep a copy of the quote and booking confirmation and clarify any difference before paying or handing over the bike. Nothing here affects your rights under applicable law.

Quotes

A quote is based on the details you give us: pickup and delivery addresses, the bike, access at both ends and the dates. It should list what is included, such as packing, loading and unloading, door delivery or collection, and any transit cover. If details change, the quote may need to be revised. If no validity period is stated on your quote, ask us to reconfirm it before you book.

Booking confirmation and payment

Before pickup, ask for a written booking confirmation showing the agreed amount, any advance, and when the balance is due. Please pay only after confirming the payment details with us on our official phone number or email, and keep the receipt.

Pickup, dispatch and delivery dates

Pickup, dispatch and delivery dates we share are estimates unless your booking confirmation states otherwise. Weather, road conditions and access can affect them. If you are dropping the bike off yourself, use only an address and time we have confirmed to you in writing.

Your documents and the bike

• Please provide copies of the RC, insurance and your photo ID when asked, and tell us the receiver's name and phone number if someone else will collect the bike.
• You confirm that you own the bike or are authorised to send it.
• Remove helmets, accessories and personal items before pickup, and follow our instructions on fuel level.

Condition record

The bike's condition should be recorded at pickup, including existing scratches, dents and the odometer reading. Check the record before you sign, and take your own photos. At delivery, check the bike against that record before signing the delivery note.

Transit cover and damage

Transit cover applies only if it is included in your written quote or booking. What it covers, its limits and its exclusions are those stated in the actual policy or cover terms; ask for a copy before you book. If you notice damage at delivery, write it on the delivery note and send us photos with your booking reference as soon as possible.

Changes and cancellation

Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds follow the terms agreed in your written booking confirmation. If those terms are not clear, ask us to explain them in writing before you pay any advance.

We may update this page from time to time. Keep a copy of this page and the written terms agreed for your booking. Ask us to clarify any later change that affects your move.
